Finnish startup swiftly maps ‘silent pandemic’ affecting millions.

Antimicrobial resistance( AMR) was directly responsible for over 1 million losses in 2019, and the death risk keeps rising. It occurs when bacteria come flexible to antibiotics, making infections more delicate to treat — or in some cases insolvable.

Samples are also analyzed using a high-outturn qPCR system( a technology used for measuring DNA) to describe and quantify antibiotic resistance genes‍. Results are also displayed on an interactive dashboard which helps authorities identify implicit areas for intervention. But that’s just the morning.
